Coversion Between Decimals and Fractions- 5th Grade Math
Practice converting decimals to fractions and vice versa. In the fourth grade, students had practiced converting decimals to fractions with denominators 10 and 100. In Decimals and Fractions Worksheet, students convert fractions with denominators as multiples of 10 using equivalence of fractions. For example, 6/20 = 3/10 = 0.3. They also convert fractions with denominator 1000 to thousandths and vice versa.
Common Core Alignment
5.NBT.3.aRead and write decimals to thousandths using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form, e.g., 347.392 = 3 × 100 + 4 × 10 + 7 × 1 + 3 × (1/10) + 9 × (1/100) + 2 × (1/1000).
