Extend Number Patterns (Rule not Mentioned)- 4th Grade Math
Number Patterns Worksheet focuses on extending a number pattern by guessing the rule implicit in the pattern. A numbers pattern is a sequence of numbers that grows or repeats according to a specific rule. For example, the following number pattern starts at 2 and follows the rule add 3:
2, 5, 8, 11, 14....and so forth. In this worksheet, students must guess the rule, based on the given numbers in the pattern, and then use the rule to extend the pattern.
