Two Dimensional Shapes - 2nd Grade Math
In the second grade, students learn to identify two new shapes; hexagon and pentagon, apart from quadrilaterals and triangles. Students must move beyond visual recognition and identify shapes based on their defining attributes; such as the number of angles, number of equal sides etc. Two Dimensional Shapes Worksheet exposes students to two dimensional shapes in different sizes and orientation, as well as some real life objects that look like these shapes.
