# 1. Two Dimensional Shapes

In the second grade, students learn to identify two new shapes; hexagon and pentagon, apart from quadrilaterals and triangles. Students must move beyond visual recognition and identify shapes based on their defining attributes; such as the number of angles, number of equal sides etc. **Two Dimensional Shapes Worksheet **exposes students to two dimensional shapes in different sizes and orientation, as well as some real life objects that look like these shapes.
