Equivalent Fractions without Models- 3rd Grade Math
Students work with equivalence of fraction for simple fractions without using models. In the third grade, it is not required that the students learn the general method of generating fraction equivalent to a given fraction. The focus should be on developing foundational understanding of equivalence of fractions.
